"Walking" Tall

Patrick got the Fisher-Price Stride to Ride Walker for Christmas and he's figured out how to push it around and walk behind it (without falling forward!). He looks so pleased with himself as he "walks" across the room.


Patrick's other favorite new toy is his LeapStart Learning Table. It has all sorts of buttons that make musical sounds. So far Patrick seems to like the trombone best (Daddy has one just like it!).

Toys

Did you know that AOL will send free toys in the mail for your baby? AOL is kind enough to send them once a month or so, sometimes they come attached a magazine. Patrick loves these free toys, take a look for yourself...


When he's not busy kissing the baby in the reflection of the AOL CD-ROM, Patrick loves to play with any type of phone. Here he is playing with my old cell phone, I think it was Santa on the other line but I'm not sure.

Feliz Navidad

Merry Christmas everyone! The last two days have been a blur, I wish I had taken more pictures. Patrick had a wonderful first Christmas, even though his cold is still lingering. Boxes and paper, what more could a baby ask for? Patrick got a bunch of new toys so Tom will be spending some time tomorrow on assembly. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well!

Christmas Day...

Get up, stand up...

Patrick is now an old pro at pulling himself up. He mastered the crib, even after it was lowered (thanks Tom!). Now he has figured out how to stand up in the Pack n Play. It's actually really cute to see him so pleased with himself when he gets up. The dogs are getting nervous, they've realized that Patrick can now chase them.

We're getting excited about Patrick's first Christmas. He will be thrilled with all of the boxes and paper.

A very busy weekend

On Saturday I spent the day with Monica, Sara, Peggy and Kathy. We went out for tea in the city, it was really nice. Patrick stayed home with Dad and did a little Christmas shopping.

On Sunday we celebrated Christmas with Tom's parents as they will be in South Carolina with Lisa & Scott (and maybe baby?) over Christmas.

We need to lower the crib again

Patrick pulled himself up for the first time last night. He can pull himself up in his crib which is slightly scary because his head is so big he may just topple out of it. Now I'm never going to be able to reach in there without a stepstool.

An introduction

I thought this would be an easy way to share pictures and keep everyone up to date on what Patrick is up to.

Patrick is now 8 months and is just starting to crawl. He's starting to get in to all sorts of thing that I hadn't really thought about. Yesterday he reset the TiVo. Oops.
