I forgot about this picture, how cute is this?



That's Patrick with his cousins Vincent and Brandie. It was taken this weekend at a suprise birthday party for Patrick's godmother Danielle (she claims she is 29 again but we're not buying it!). Patrick adores all of his cousins and always looks forward to playing with "the kids". And "the kids" seem to adore him too, how lucky is that? :)

Choo Choo Ch'Boogie

This afternoon was a little grey and drizzly so we took Patrick for a ride on Caltrain. I keep meaning to take some videos of his little voice but I am so bad about the video camera, and he seems to clam up whenever it comes out anyways. So I got him in a short video on my digital camera, not realizing of course that I shouldn't hold the camera sideways. So hopefully this video post works, turn your screen, or your head, or just use your imagination :)

Maui On My Mind

We had an amazing trip and luckily Patrick seems to have completely forgiven us for leaving him for 6 days! :) The ukelele we brought back for him may have had a little to do with that! Here are a few pics from our trip, the first three are from a whale watching cruise we went on, we had a mama whale and a baby both breaching about 30 yards off the boat, it was so cool it gave me goose bumps! I didn't get pictures of them in the air together but I was still pretty pleased with the way they turned out. We also got to see some bottlenose dolphins.

We're back from Hawaii! Patrick stayed with Nana and Papa for 6 days with only 1 or 2 big meltdowns (he kept asking for us and wanted to go home). I only cried once! :) I'll post some pictures this weekend.

Here are a few Valentine pictures I had taken of Patrick before we left. We were gone on Valentine's Day but Nana reports that Patrick enjoyed his prechool Valentine's party and a special trip to the San Francisco Zoo. Mommy and Daddy had a nice Valentine's Day complete with a whale watching cruise and a lovely dinner on the beach.

Jump Around

We had a nice little adventure this afternoon. I recently read about this new trampoline center that opened up nearby called Sky High Sports. It's basically a series of huge rooms with trampoline floors and walls. Perfect for burning off all of that almost 3 year old energy. So Patrick and I met some friends there for an hour of jumping. They had a fabulous time, burned off a bunch of energy, and will hopefully sleep in a little in the morning.

It's $9 for an hour of jumping. I highly recommend it. Can't wait to try it when I am not pregnant!
